The RIPA Authorisations software Suite from Geoff Smith Associates Limited incorporates management of all Applications, Covert Intelligence Recording and Operational processes under the following legislation, The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, The Human Rights Act 1998, The Police Act 1996 and 1997, The Data Protection Act 1998 and the Criminal Procedure & Investigations Act 1996. This has previously been a major development area and has successfully progressed through extensive and comprehensive product testing during 2009 with our Test Unit. Geoff Smith Associates Limited launched CycFreedom² at the ACPO/APOS Conference in Southampton on 8 June 2009. With our partners Fujitsu Europe, GSA were sponsors of the event and had a stand in the Mayflower Lounge. CycFreedom² is our Information and Contact management solution that is growing and growing. In recent years GSA have made many changes to the product led in part by our User Group!!

CycComms which is Geoff Smith Associates' Communications Data Application Management solution for Telecoms and Authorities Bureau SPOCs continues to be developed using recommendations generated from the CycComms User Group. The User Group is constituted of CycComms SPOC Users and Geoff Smith Associates' CycComms Team Members. Recent installations of the RIPA Compliant solutions include Hertfordshire and Derbyshire Constabulary with Merseyside in the process of implementing the final solution.
