Since 2006 ScanIT GSA has been providing Bureau Services of:

• Document Scanning   with fastidious preparation and utilising production scanning equipment,
• Evidence Scanning   of seized evidential material by CTC security cleared operatives,
• Data Capture  from live and archive forms using Key From Image, OCR, ICR and BarCode capture options,
• Forms Processing provided in a 'complete' service package which can include form design,
• and other Bureau Services which include onsite, and secure scanning services.

Document Scanning

ScanIT GSA's Document scanning service was developed to accommodate a need of our existing customers providing a complete scanning service including collection, preparation, scanning and delivery in a range of formats.  We provide a quality service undertaking continuous scanning work contracts, fixed quantity archive scanning and surplus 'backlog' scanning contracts.  The service is flexible and always tailored to the customer's requirements with an audit log for all parts of a job commencing from handover to handback.  Examples of previous scanning contract work include Human Resources Personal file scanning, financial documentation and general office document scanning.

Evidence Scanning

ScanIT GSA is a division of Geoff Smith Associates much of whose work is centred within policing and continuing this link, ScanIT GSA provides specialist evidential scanning services.  The service essentially provides a scanning facility for seized material and evidence from live cases.  All items within an Evidence Bag or Box are scanned: from paper receipts, to keys, CDs to A4 paper documents.  All ScanIT staff are security cleared to CTC Level and we provide a range of specialised services including manual and electronic audit trails and Continuity Statements.  Contact our Bureau Manager on 01455 299100 for References and to discuss our evidence scanning services. 

Data Capture and Forms Processing

ScanIT GSA offers a flexible data capture and forms processing service.  Customer requirements range from Data Capture and Forms Processing for LIVE paper and Scanned form images to Back Record Conversion projects and processing of archived Forms.  Data Capture services for our corporate customers range from Human Resource, to Purchasing and Financial forms processing. For Police Customers we offer Crime and Intelligence, HORT, Street Encounters, PND and RTA form processing. In addition to contracts where ScanIT undertakes all form processing, we also provide backlog and archive form processing services.  The form processing service can be absolutely 'end to end' with the inclusion of form design, form printing services and a range of data and image export options.
