What the suite does
Statutory work, kept to the letter
Submission, assessment and dissemination of intelligence, extending into investigation and case management and the production of a fully electronic case file.
The Intelligence product is where intelligence enters: a submission wizard that ad hoc users complete without training, process driven assessment and LIO activity, links to every POLE entity, a confidential source register, and sanitised dissemination using 3x5x2. Case is where actionable intelligence becomes a case: enquiry tools, tasking, exhibit and material handling, and the production of a fully electronic case file with electronic disclosure.
The two are one system, so nothing is re-keyed on the way from a log to a file. A nominal, address, vehicle or account recorded in intelligence is the same entity in the investigation, the assessment that made the intelligence actionable sits in the case history, and disclosure is prepared from the record rather than reconstructed from it.
The suite is configurable for police, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, counter fraud and investigation services, and is in service with UK national agencies, a regulator and an overseas force. The same engine runs the end to end criminal justice system GSA built for Gibraltar.

Investigation shares Cyclops with the other two suites: the same workflow engine, document store and audit trail, so a force that runs one product already has the ground for the next.
